Black Sabbath Back To The Beginning Official Program

Ozzy and co backing Big Issue for Black Sabbath's farewell Birmingham bash

Oasis aren’t the only Brit rock royalty going live this weekend. Black Sabbath are going to the Back to the Beginning for their rock god-packed farewell gig at Villa Park on 5 July - and Ozzy Osbourne and co are generously helping out Big Issue in the process.

The special souvenir programme for the one-off event, produced by the team behind Classic Rock and Metal Hammer, in association with Big Issue, will see
sales proceeds go to the Big Issue and help our mission to end poverty.

The 68-page tribute is a must-have for any Sabbath superfan. It comes packed with all-new personal reflections from Ozzy and bandmates Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi and Bill Ward as well excerpts from classic interviews, memories from fans and classic photos from the band’s long, distinguished career.

There are also chats with plenty of the heavy metal heavyweights on the bill for the farewell bash, including: Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Ghost, Slayer, Tool, Pantera, Alice In Chains, Lamb Of God, Zakk Wylde, and many more.

The farewell show’s musical director Tom Morello has penned the introduction while Live Nation’s Andy Copping, who put the show together, is also interviewed.
